Have the Merriest Christmas of all!

We've had a lovely week! We were busy like Santa's elves!  I've never used so much glitter in one week!  This group of children LOVE glitter!  And they used it to make such beautiful cards and gifts!  I loved the ornaments and hope you do, too!  They each worked really hard to make them beautiful for you!

One of their favorite things to do this week were making the beautiful gingerbread houses!  You saw them when they came home (I hope) but the pictures tell the real story!  They were so intent on their designs that our classroom was calm for an entire hour!  Check out the pictures!

On Friday we had a classroom full of pajamas for our trip on the Polar Express!  In the morning, we opened presents.  I purchased some new art materials that I knew the kiddos would love...new markers and twist up crayons.  I also bought some new Matchbox cars for the classroom collection!  In the afternoon, our class joined Mrs. Branch's class and Mrs. Twarog's class for the movie.  We passed out hot cocoa part way through the movie...at the end we headed back to our classroom to pack up!  It was an amazing day!  Such a sweet group of children...they were happy and so excited for Christmas! Here are some more pictures!
